It's a feature designed to optimize your connection - automatically switching between WiFi and mobile data to improve network stability or conserve battery life. Called connectivity Adaptive, it analyzes various connection factors like signal quality, coverage, and energy consumption to decide what type of connection is most suitable at any given moment.

On paper, it sounds like a great idea. But in practice, it can lead to the very opposite - constant changes between networks that make your connection seem unstable. The good news is that the problem often has a simple, swift solution: just disable this feature.

To do so, go to Settings, then Network & Internet, and look for the Connectivity adaptive option. In some phones, it might appear under Advanced network settings. Toggle off the options to switch automatically to mobile data and optimize for battery life.

After disabling this feature and reconnecting to your usual WiFi, you may find that the dropped calls disappear immediately, and your connection becomes stable again.

However, if the problem persists, there's another troubleshooting step you can try. Go to Settings, then System, then Reset options, and select Reset network settings and Reset Bluetooth & WiFi. This process wipes out old network configurations that might be interfering with your current connection.

After resetting your network settings and re-entering your WiFi password, you may find that the issue is resolved. Modern smartphones manage a variety of settings, like battery life, network connections, and display brightness, without requiring user intervention. The challenge is that these automated systems don't always interpret every situation correctly. A feature designed to improve stability can sometimes create more problems than it solves, especially in domestic environments.
