Samsung drops $50 on galaxy buds 4 pro – but there’s a catch
The usual Woot flash sale is back, and this time it’s targeting the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro. A $50 discount is bringing these premium earbuds down to a tempting $199.99 – a significant step below the typical $250 price tag. But before you hit ‘add to cart’, there’s a crucial detail you need to understand.
International model, limited warranty
This deal is exclusively for the international version of the Buds 4 Pro. While functionally identical to the US model, it’s missing the standard active warranty. Woot is offering a 90-day limited guarantee as a consolation, however, a reasonable fallback considering the price. It’s a trade-off, plain and simple.
Sound that bites – and bass that pummels
Let’s be clear: the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro deliver serious sonic punch. From the initial unboxing, the audio quality is remarkable. The emphasis on deep, resonant bass – a hallmark of Samsung’s tuning – is immediately apparent, lending an almost visceral quality to acoustic tracks, making you feel like the artist is practically in the room with you. But don’t mistake it for overwhelming; the app allows for granular adjustments, mitigating that intense low-end if you prefer a more balanced soundstage.
Anc that silences the chaos
Noise cancellation on these earbuds is genuinely impressive. They effectively attenuate the drone of jet engines and the cacophony of urban traffic. While pinpoint accuracy with higher-frequency noises – like chatter – requires a snug fit, the overall performance is exceptionally solid, creating a genuinely immersive listening experience. It’s a significant improvement over previous generations.
Battery life that travels with you
The battery performance is equally compelling. With ANC activated, you’re looking at up to six hours of playback. Disable the noise cancellation, and that figure climbs to seven. And the charging case? It provides a staggering 26 hours of total battery life—30 without ANC—enough to power through even the longest international flights. A quick 10-minute top-up in the case delivers an extra hour of listening, a genuinely useful feature. It’s not just about convenience; it's about peace of mind.
The bottom line: a smart grab
For Samsung users seeking high-end audio and robust noise cancellation, the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro represent a compelling value proposition. The $199.99 price – especially considering the international model’s limited warranty – is difficult to pass up. Don't hesitate; this offer won’t last.
