A fresh Weibo leak lays bare the Pad Mini: 8.8-inch screen, metal chassis, barely-there bezels, and—if the numbers hold—16 GB of RAM plus 512 GB of storage driven by Qualcomm’s next-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. April is pencilled in for China; the rest of the planet may have to wait for a OnePlus twin.

The ipad mini finally gets a specs rival

Apple’s A17 Pro tablet has owned the premium small-slate niche since last autumn. Oppo’s answer shrinks the gap to 6 mm of aluminium and ~8 000 mAh of battery, topped off with 67 W wired charging. Price whisperers point to CNY 3 900–4 000 (≈ $565–580) after watching Lenovo’s Legion Y700 settle in the same band. Oppo hasn’t confirmed, yet the math feels right: charge flagship money, deliver flagship silicon, apologise later for the China-only software.
