N1's architecture and specs
Based on Arm Technology, the N1 chip features a unique design with two main parts, flanked by multiple memory modules. This architecture is reportedly based on Nvidia's Blackwell design, hinting at impressive graphical capabilities in laptops.
Rumored specs include up to 20 CPU cores and over 6,000 CUDA cores for the graphics processing unit (GPU). This would put N1 on par with high-end desktop computers in certain aspects.

Nvidia's ambitions in the cpu market
If confirmed, Nvidia would shift from its traditional stronghold in GPUs to directly competing with Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm for high-performance laptop CPUs. This move could shake up the market, giving consumers more options for powerful yet efficient mobile computing.

This would allow for massive increases in processing power, making Nvidia's GPUs ideal for high-end applications like data centers and AI workloads. However, the added power comes at a cost, with rumored power consumption levels nearing 1,000 watts in some instances.
