The warning comes as consumers grapple with ever-increasing digital risks, and highlights a crucial shift in how we approach online security.

Santiago Izquierdo, Samsung Iberia’s Head of Technology, and Melchor Sanz, HP Iberia’s CTO, both emphasized the surprisingly low barrier to entry for malicious actors leveraging artificial intelligence. “It’s become remarkably easy to use AI to impersonate someone,” Sanz stated, underscoring that the most pressing danger isn't necessarily the traditional malware route, but rather the rise of deepfake-driven identity theft.
