Google patches march update bugs, but more issues remain unresolved
Google has released
a new update for Pixel devices aimed at fixing some of the bugs introduced with the March feature drop. The update, which is now available to download, reportedly addresses issues with third-party apps crashing, games freezing, and the missing Quick Share feature during file transfers.
Crashing apps and games
One of the most common complaints since the March update was the frequent crashing of third-party apps, including social media and banking apps. Users reported experiencing slow performance and then sudden crashes of apps like Instagram. The April update's release notes confirm that it fixes an issue causing certain banking apps to crash.
Similarly, gaming on Pixel phones took a hit with the March update, as many users experienced their games freezing and then crashing. The April update promises a
